Maximize Your Productivity with Cloth & Paper Project Inserts
Tackling a new project and have no idea where to start? Use Cloth & Paper’s collection of essential project inserts to maximize your productivity and track your important projects!
SWOT Analysis Inserts
Our SWOT Analysis Inserts, which provide a place to outline your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, & threats, serve as the first essential step in taking on a new project. To get your ideas flowing, take a glance at our probe questions provided under each header. While weighing your strengths vs. weaknesses or opportunities vs. threats, mark your most important bullet points towards the top of the page. Less important items can be listed towards the bottom of the page. A visually convenient organizational method to implement while using these inserts is ever-useful color coding! Color code each section by marking which bullet points contribute most heavily to the project in one color, and those that contribute on a smaller scale in another. I prefer to use a darker color such as the Transparent Shape Stickers | Dots | Monaco for my most important factors, and a coordinating lighter color such as Ube for my less important factors. This method helps me quickly see how factors compare to each other, and simplifies my decision-making process.
The SWOT Analysis Inserts leave usage open to a variety of application, not just for work-related projects! Use them to help you make significant decisions such as whether or not to add a lovable pet to the family, move to a new state, or apply to graduate school. On a more business-oriented note, use them to analyze candidates for a promotion within your business. These inserts can also be used to complete a personal audit, which allows you to dig into areas for growth in your personal or professional life. Use each category to identify areas of your personality that are serving you well, while also taking note of areas that could use extra attention as you work toward your goals.
Project Management Inserts
Personally, the Project Management Inserts are my favorite choice when organizing a new venture, because they seamlessly encompass the other two inserts to create a cohesive key to my projects. They’re perfect for digging into the nitty-gritty of project planning. Lay a foundation for your project by completing your Content Overview, which should contain the most vital details that encompass the main focus of your project. To use in tandem with the rest of the Project Insert collection, start by labeling your Tasks within your Project Management Inserts, then migrate them to the Gantt Chart Task list. Next, use your Gantt Chart Project Schedule to complete the timeline in your Project Management Inserts. Then, jot down your most important SWOT notes under Ideation, and use the back of the Project Management Inserts in conjunction with the front of your SWOT Inserts as a two-page spread.
Our Project Management Inserts include a section for noting collaborations and contacts, which are especially useful for micro-influencers, who can track brand partnership details for sponsored content. These inserts also work well for students to track responsibilities and task delegation for group projects. Planning a celebration? Use these inserts to break out roles in the planning process and ensure that all elements are complete prior to the party. Whether you have multiple family members helping to plan a reunion, or several people working together to host an anniversary party or baby shower, the Project Management Inserts will help you keep track of every aspect of the day.
Gantt Chart Inserts
Visualize, define and maintain your project schedule with our Gantt Chart Planner Inserts | Refreshed Layout by tracking the amount of time you spend on each task within your project. If possible, start by listing tasks in chronological order based on their deadline for completion. Then, with our Transparent Shape Stickers (Suede is one of my favorite shades!) or a Tombow Dual Brush Art Marker, mark the days you work on each task. Use the Notes section to record progress expectations as your project moves forward, along with listing additional supplies that need to be purchased or meetings that need to be scheduled.
The Gantt Chart Inserts can easily be adapted to a chore chart for families. Use different colored stickers to represent each child, and add a color key to the notes section. Don’t forget to set a goal to work towards! Looking for accountability at the gym? Transform these inserts into an exercise log. Track which days you focus on specific exercises or body parts, and use different colored stickers or highlighters for each area. Within this scenario, we also recommend implementing a color key within the notes section to quickly identify each exercise or focus area. These inserts can also serve as a mood tracker. Begin by writing an emotion in each task column, and note how your moods shift over the course of a month. Then, use the notes section for reflection.
