How to Create a Catch-All Planner
A catch-all planner includes all aspects of your planning in one place ⸺ calendars, task lists, meal plans, goals, notes, work planning, home planning, and more. This is a great option for those that prefer to use one planner instead of separating planning by functionality. By keeping all of your inserts in one place while still using organization for the different aspects of your planning lifestyle, you can create your perfect catch-all planner!
Add Calendar Inserts | Personal + Work
The 2022 Dated Horizontal Weekly Inserts provide a superb layout for including your personal/work planning while still keeping them separated. My favorite method to use with these inserts is listing my work tasks in the blank spaces, and listing my personal/home tasks in the graph section. The Memo, Priorities, and Next Week fields also provide ample space to keep extra notes for all aspects of your lifestyle. Add the 2022 Year Overview Inserts to list all of your yearly/monthly priorities in one place.
Implement Dividers for Organization
Since keeping a catch-all planner involves a lot of different items, it’s important to maintain organization. Add dividers that will best suit your needs. A great choice is The Essentials Side Tab Planner Dividers | Glass Plastic | White Foil, as these allow you to separate inserts by functionality within your catch-all. Alternatively, add Blank Dividers to create your own labels to fit your planning needs. These can be labeled with a label maker or the Uni Pin Marking Pen.
Add Tasks + Notes
Your notes and task inserts can house notes across all of your planning. To continue the method used with the Horizontal Weekly Inserts, add the Duo Notes Inserts | Blank + Graph to separate your notes by function while still keeping them in one place. Alternatively, the Task Inserts provide perfect space to list all of your notes and create a structure that works best for you! Add additional notes space to your daily planning by implementing the Half Page Graph Inserts between your monthly/weekly/daily pages. These can be easily moved between pages and transferred from daily planning to notes sections within your planner dividers.
Add Relevant Lifestyle Inserts
One of the most exciting parts of creating a catch-all planner is adding the lifestyle inserts, such as financial, meal planning, chores, and project planning. Add the Cleaning Inserts to keep track of household chores, and pair with the Home Refresh + Renovation Inserts to plan home layouts and renovations in-depth.
For personal planning relating to journaling and mental health, add the Journaling Inserts and Mental Wellness Inserts. These allow the space to explore your thoughts, and by adding them to your catch-all planner, you’ll be able to jot down your thoughts at any time of the day. For self care days, inserts such as the Minimal Skincare Routine provide an actionable take on relaxing skincare maintenance.
Keep a log of your finances with our Purchase Tracker Inserts. Alternatively, the notes spaces in the weekly inserts or notes inserts serve as great options for finance tracking. Similarly, list your meal plans, grocery lists, and other miscellaneous lists using the various notes options.
