Stickers are fun and decorative planning tools, however they can be highly functional as well! This week we’ll consider how we can use stickers to elevate your planning routine.

Prioritize Tasks

One of our favorite methods of organization and prioritization is through color-coding. By using a variety of our Mini Shape Stickers in colors such as Cortado and Beignet, you can organize your incoming tasks by priority, which not only adds structure to your planning, but also provides an at-a-glance view of your upcoming schedule. Other tasks that may also benefit from a color-coded prioritization system include assigning chores for the week and creating a project plan.

Create Ease in Your Monthly Calendar

By using stickers to highlight an important date, such as a birthday or vacation, you create ease of visibility within your monthly overview calendar. You can quickly reference these important dates and they serve as a subtle reminder as the dates approach. For this method, I recommend using eye-catching stickers such as the Transparent Shape Stickers | Drops in Avant Garde and the Minimal Shape Sticker Set | Transparent | Drops in Beignet. I’ve found that is especially helpful for events such as birthdays or anniversaries, as the stickers serve as reminders each time I access my planner, so then I can ensure I make necessary arrangements ahead of time for related tasks such as buying gifts or making reservations.

Highlight Self Care Time

Using the Self Care Sticker Set, you can easily save space and time while planning with these handy tracking stickers. Use the Self Care Stickers to mark off your leisure time. I’ve found these helpful for time-blocking, as the stickers are the perfect size to “block” off times within a calendar. This is especially useful while using inserts such as the Undated Daily Planner Inserts | Refreshed Layout and the Lao Tzu Undated Hourly Inserts.

Labeling

To label parts of your notes or re-label unused dated inserts, the Tape sticker shape from our Mini Shape Sticker Sets are extremely helpful! To continue the neutral color scheme, the Tape shape in Beignet is a great option for labeling headers and titles. You can also use Transparent Shape Stickers | Dots to cleanly label/date your undated inserts. (I love using this for the Undated Horizontal Weekly Inserts | Refreshed Layout!).

Save Time + Energy with Everyday Use

Add functional stickers to your everyday planning routine using the Planner Stickers | For C&P Spiral Bound Planner. This set includes labels, icons, dot, and drop stickers - all in one place! I love using these in my Spiral Planner to note upcoming tasks as a convenient at-a-glance reminder. These stickers are both decorative and functional, and can be used at any point in your planning. These are easily accessible once added to the Spiral Planner, and they save the time and energy of writing when used to mark tasks and reminders.

Similarly, the Mini Icon Stickers | Lifestyle are ideal for noting everyday tasks and highlighting important appointments with minimalistic and chic mini icons.
