Get a Head Start on Goal Planning for 2022
One of my favorite parts about preparing for the new year is planning out my brand new, sparkly yearly goals! Sometimes, it can be difficult to know where to start. So, we’ve put together a guide for getting a head start on your 2022 goal planning so that you can have another successful, fulfilling year!
Before planning your goals for 2022, review and analyze your goals from 2021. Did you accomplish your goals for the year? If you’re continuing this year’s goals into the new year, could they be tweaked in any way? Consider if there were any unfinished goals that could be moved into next year. When it comes to annual goal planning, it’s important to first take into account where you are now, and where you want to be. This can make it easier to envision what is attainable within the year, and then break your goals down by steps or priority. An exercise I like to practice while setting goals is to consider how I can add mindful focus to achieve each goal. Another method to encourage yourself to reach your goals is creating self accountability. This can look like communicating your goal to someone close to you, keeping a blog, and writing a dated log for your progress.
