5 Ways to Use the Kanban Desk Pad
The Kanban Desk Pad is our favorite desk pad layout for keeping track of incoming tasks every step of the way! We have five useful ways to add the desk pad to your daily routine.
Home
Especially useful for managing a household, the Kanban Desk Pad is ideal for keeping up with incoming home duties. Track your house chores, bills, and even meal plan. Add sticky notes like the HALF STICKY NOTES | GRAPH + MACCHIATO or ARROW STICKY NOTES | ANGORA GRAY to easily move chores from To-Do through Done. Bills may be best tracked by writing them towards the bottom of each column. Then, you can use the Priority spaces to plan out your meals for the week.
Work
Keep the desk pad in your workspace for an at-a-glance view of your day-to-day appointments and tasks - even if they’ve already been written in your planner! This way, quick notes or ideas that occur throughout the day may be jotted down and then transferred to your planner if needed.
Similar to the home-related tips, use a sticky note to transfer your incoming tasks throughout their completion journey. The desk pad provides plenty of space to track work projects and all of the moving parts that fall under them!
Academics
The desk pad is a phenomenal option for keeping up with your academic schedule/workload. Track coursework for each class within a week, your study or planning session times, and record each step of an essay/project process. It provides plenty of space to take quick notes while planning your coursework schedule.
Social Media
Sometimes mapping out or scheduling your social media can be a messy process! Using the desk pad, keep a visually convenient overview of your social media post schedule, ideas, and more. Due to the open notes space, you can even sketch out ideas or experiment with color schemes and layouts.
Personal Projects
Every step of the way of your personal project, use the desk pad to envision your goals and bring them to life. Explore using sticky notes, stickers, and highlighters when mapping out your project (you never know when you might find your next “holy grail” method or product!). With 50 tear-away sheets available, you have the freedom to explore all of your ideas, pin them in a convenient space, and move your tasks as needed. Your projects don’t need to be tangible - you can track mental health goals, reading goals, and daily motivational outlets.

Cloth & Paper is my guilt pleasure for all 11 of my planners. Don’t judge me. I did not say anything about your shoe game! I love when C&P provides videos and blogs on some of the ways we can use their clean, simple, but luxurious products!
This desk pad is exactly what I need as I work my 9 to 5 and grind from 5 to 11.
Thank you, Ashley & team!
