Goal Mapping Notebook
“Effective goal setting starts with making small, but impactful short term goals.”
Goal setting is a fulfilling and rewarding practice; however, it can be difficult to decide how to start! Our Goal Mapping Notebook is instrumental in mapping, developing, and achieving your goals. For usage tips and examples, we've included a “how to use” page at the front and back of the book. Start by choosing a clear, attainable goal. Whether it be a big or small goal, the most successful goal will be something that you’re interested in and that requires a little bit of a stretch. Our notebook’s example goal is budgeting monthly expenses. In this case, the six weeks provided are mapped out as: Weeks 1+2: Track spending
Week 3: Calculate spending
Week 4: Create budget and savings plan
Weeks 5+6: Implement new plan
Include goal rewards as additional motivators, which you’ll receive at the end of each six week goal. These can be tangible, such as grabbing a sweet treat, or intangible, such as sleeping in on the weekend! In the weekly spaces provided below each map, note important details about that week’s progress, how you’re feeling about your progress, and any adjustments that need to be made to your approach the following week. Don’t forget to fill in the “achieved” bubble for your successful weeks - we love to mark completed weeks with ourTransparent Shape Stickers | Dotsin a soft color such as Amalfi Coast. Use the Year Goals page as an overview to lay out your upcoming goals and priorities, and note the date as you achieve them. This page is great for referencing alongside other goal-oriented parts of your planning such as habit trackers and project management. It’s good practice to continue building on good habits that you’ve cultivated!
