Strawberries pair with matcha to create a sweet Happy Hour drink that’s as lovely to look at as it is to sip!
Strawberry Matcha Drink Recipe | Cloth & Paper Happy Hour 06.18
Ingredients:
- Matcha
- Filtered water
- Strawberries
- Sugar
- Milk of choice
- Ice cubes
Process:
1. Pour 2 ounces filtered water into glass. Sift 1 ½ teaspoons matcha into water and whisk until foamy, with no clumps. Stir in 2 additional ounces water; set aside.2. Blend together 1 cup strawberries, ¼ cup sugar, and ½ cup water to create strawberry puree.
3. Pour puree into large glass; combine puree with additional chopped strawberries as desired. Add enough ice to fill the glass to the top; slowly pour in ¾ cup milk of choice.
4. Top with matcha; serve immediately. Tip: make sure to hit the ice while pouring to create a layered effect.
