5 Ways to Reset Your Planner for the New Year
What’s better than going into the New Year with a fresh planning system? Not much! Here are five ways to reset your planner in time for a fresh start.
New Year, New Inserts
As we venture into an entirely new year, you’ll need new inserts! Our 2023 Collection is robust and perfect for rounding out your 2023 planner. With your pristine new inserts prepared, you can begin anew and start preparing or decorating your calendar. In a tidy space, set up your planner in preparation. Keep your favorite accessories nearby, and set the tone - whether it be accompanied by candles, coffee, or other cozy, refreshing details. This will help you get into a refreshed mind space!
Or, opt for an entirely new planner with the 2023 Spiral Bound Planner. This can easily slip into your planner cover, be decorated with Spiral Planner Accessories, and is portable enough to fit cleanly in your workspace and on-the-go. Opting for a brand new planner sets you up for the ultimate clear and tidy reset.
Try a New Organization System
A total reset means that you can try new planning methods. This includes organization! We recently considered How to Stay Organized During the Holidays, but how can you incorporate this in the new year? Consider what works best for your workspace and planning needs. If you need to consolidate your writing utensils, the Everyday Carryall Pouch may be your best choice. For holding various accessories, such as page flags, paperclips, and pens, the Essentials Pouch | Large is perfect. For keeping loose papers and documents that don’t need to be part of your planner, keep the Arched Folder nearby to keep your desk clear.
Take a Planning Course
You may be ready to organize your planner for 2023, but don’t know where to start. This is where our spectacular planner consultant, Iesha, comes in! She will be guiding the Planning in the New Year Live Workshop, which still has spots available! Sign up for Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 or Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 at 7PM Eastern Time for ~45 minutes of planning content and up to 30 minutes of Q&A. Spaces are limited, so sign up ASAP to receive tailored planning advice via Zoom.
Can’t make it? Cloth & Paper has options! Book a 1v1 Planner Consultation with our team of experts at any time of the year. Sometimes, the perfect way to reset is to have a fresh pair of eyes on your planning routine.
Refresh By Starting Simple
Okay – you have a new planner, pristine desk space, and lots of excitement for the new year. But, it somehow may feel overwhelming. That is when it is time to take it back to the basics. It is okay if you need a complete reset! That is what new beginnings are all about. Start small by only tracking your most important tasks for the week or day. The How to Stick to Your Planning Routine Blog features in-depth tips for using simplicity to cultivate habits.
Test a New Planning Technique
