How to Start Your Own Planner Club
We know how passionate the community is about planning, so we have created a guide on starting your very own planner club! Talk about your favorite planning items, methods, and C&P news over brunch, tea, or exclusive dinner parties.
Using Facebook Groups, a club app, or with a good, old-fashioned planner, gather your friends together to create a club dedicated to all things planning!
Share Planner Tips + Secrets
Pick a day and time to meet every week, whether over video chat or in-person (or both!). During meetings, swap your planning tips and tricks with each other – you never know which great secrets might be your next holy grail for planning! Between social media and personal discoveries, you can combine your methods and discuss which tips work best for different types of planning. Peek at the Cloth & Paper Insider Facebook group (or any other planning-related group), Instagram, and other social media platforms to find unique insight. Then, share your favorite tips with your planner club!
Discuss Your Planning Routine
During a club meeting, try sharing your own planning routine. Take turns discussing what works for your routines and what doesn’t. Another idea is to schedule your own personal Planner Consultation, then you will have even more insight to bring to your planner club meetings to discuss.
Additionally, it is often easier to manage a routine when you have accountability! Share your planning goals with your club, and encourage each other to reach these goals or milestones. Not only is this exciting and fun, but you’ll feel accomplished and have the joy of knowing you’ve helped each other cultivate great habits!
Focus On Planning Methods Together
Perhaps you have always wanted to try productivity methods like Bullet Journaling, Time Blocking, Pomodoro Technique, or the Getting Things Done Method. Focus on these methods together! Similar to how a book club may focus on an annotation technique or analyzing certain passages, pick planning methods for the entire club to try for a certain period of time. Then, get together to discuss your planning journey while using that method!
A Safe Space to Get Passionate
Clubs don’t always need to be all about productivity and organization! Maybe you just enjoy the aesthetics of designing spreads, or like collecting planning supplies. That’s exactly what clubs are perfect for! Get passionate (or as I like to say, nerd-out) about planning, knowing that you’re surrounded by equally excited people! One fun way to engage is to use our wishlist button in the shop to keep track of your faves – then discuss your wishlist/cart with your club. Or, focus on the C&P Picks chosen in each month’s Curation Blog to try adding to your planning routine for that month. Then, everyone can discuss which products they liked, and share photos of how they’ve used each item!
Every Thursday at 2:30 PM EDT, join our team LIVE on Instagram and YouTube for C&P Happy Hour, where we discuss new releases, exclusive collections, our C&P Picks, and more. Get your planning club together with drinks, snacks, and of course your planners – and elevate your day with Cloth & Paper!
Want exclusive spoilers? Head over to the C&P Insider Facebook Group for occasional inside peeks of upcoming releases! Also, sign up for our monthly subscriptions to receive access to our Subscriber Exclusive Collection.
The idea of a planner club is so relaxing. I am going to try this with a few friends and meet weekly to discuss goals, visions and open your subscription box every month at the planning party.
